with but the client has their own dongas which should be functional in March and the
successful applicant will then be accommodated in one of the dongas with shared cooking

almost immediately and should then move to a roughly 2/1 commute. The logging is
transferred from paper to computers. The incumbent will be working closely with two
other geologists and 3 field assistants. The drilling rigs will be working roughly
12 hours per day but the geologist should only be required for about 10 hours per

at a supervisory level. Responsibilities include supervising grade control

relevant statistical and grade estimation analysis (organise carbon, sulphides and gold)
for model inputs, liaising with external consultants and consultancies and training of

area as well. The successful applicant will be required to initially review all
available data including geological, geochemical and geophysical information and make
recommendations for work programs over the next 18 - 24 months. The incumbent would
be required to manage the work programs liaising closely with the Exploration Manager and
Vice President Exploration. The incumbent will also review the geological
departments individual capabilities and recommend suitable training programs to be
implemented. It is anticipated that the successful applicants will have over 15
years post graduate exploration experience with a significant amount in Africa.
Applicants must be fluent with English, good communicators, have excellent organisational
skills, computer proficient (Autocad, Mapinfo, Discover and Gemcom preferred). This

of the logging duties and ensuring that data is effectively communicated to the head
